My friends, we have decided that man cannot live on Kettle Corn and Fresh Fruit “Shakers” alone!  We decided to make “La Dolce Vita”, The Sweet Life, a little sweeter and  have added hand twisted Cotton Candy to our Tasty Menu.  Have you ever tried Grape Flavored Cotton Candy?  How about Bubble Gum Flavored?  We will have the classic Blue Raspberry and Pink Vanilla Flavors, but these other flavors are simply awesome!  Next time you stop by for our Amazing Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn, try one of our cotton candy cones as well…your sweet tooth will thank you!!!

Wow, 2016 Season came and went so quickly!  We popped at some new events like the Wootown Challenge on the Worcester City Hall Common, Wootown Wakefest at Regatta Point and StART on the Street in Worcester as well as some familiar events like Worcester Pride, Spirit of Shrewsbury, Abilityfest and Marlborough Heritage Festival.  We are excited to announce a new, and first this year event, Worcester’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade!  Minuteman Kettle Corn and some other great Food Vendors will be turning out those flavors you crave at 370 Park Avenue, in the Austin Liquors Parking Lot.  Stop by during the parade and grab some fresh made Kettle Corn for you and the Family, or better yet, 2 bags, one for the family and the other bag just for you!!!  See you on Sunday March 12th and Happy St. Paddy’s Day!!!!

What a year we had in 2015!!!  We were Popping into December with our most crazy event yet at the Worcester Holiday Tree Lighting on December 4.  Beautiful night, beautiful lights and excellent people on the Worcester Common Oval behind City Hall!!!  We frequent many events at that location and want to give a shout out to Ralph, one of the best the City of Worcester has to offer, Ralph works for Worcester City Parks and has a handle on everything…as do all of the Worcester City workers, very hard working crew we have here in the Heart of the Commonwealth!!! Ralph is a truly great guy and also a big fan of our Kettle Corn!!!  See you around this year my friend!!

   Wow, what a great day we had on the 4th of July.  We decided to bring our operation NORTH to my Niece’s house in Rochester, New Hampshire and Pop Kettle Corn for our entire family at our 4th of July Family Reunion Bash!  I can tell you the entire bunch were thrilled and loved our Special Red, White and Blue Kettle Corn!!!  We also got to make Lemon, Lime and Orange Shakers for everyone all day…quite the thirsty bunch I’ll tell you!!!!  Everyone went home happy from the weekend with arm loads of Kettle Corn!!!!

Did it rain, oh yeah, it rained…it deluged!!!  The never ending rain, it pounded, it sprayed, it dropped, drizzled and dripped, but yeah, we still went to the event an popped kettle corn!  Ralph’s was a great host, instead of cancelling they let the artists and vendors display their wears inside.  Unfortunately, kettle corn is not a thing you can create indoors, so we were given tin roofed shed with one open side that we did our popping in.  And it worked out great!!

We finally ended up with a puddle ankle deep and had to call it quits but not before we did a good pop, sold a bunch and shard some with our new friends.  We packed it in and of course, that was when the sun finally came out!! Well, we may have gotten rained on once but well be back for the next Punkcake Pop-up Flea at Ralph’s Chadwick Square Diner on August 11th.  Stop by and grab a bag of our amazing Kettle Corn and meet all the cool artists and see all the awesome items and fantastic art on display and for sale at this great event!!!

We were invited to participate in the REC Main South Farmers Market on Saturdays from June – October, this Farmers Market is located on Murray Ave at the Fuller Family Park behind the Main Street YMCA.  This is a wonderful jewel of a park and Krista and the REC do it right with a Kids Booth, Yoga in the Park, Live Music and a great collection of Farm Fresh Vegetable Vendors as well as others, including you know who!!!! Minuteman Kettle Corn will be participating until the July 11th Farmers Market and then we are booked elsewhere, but we plan to be back at the end of August through October.  Look for us there, get your Yoga on, enjoy the music and don’t forget to grab a bag of kettle corn and a fresh fruit shaker!!

Wow, Kettle Corn Season has officially begun!  Last week we decided to set up in our back yard and test out some of our new equipment.  Ya know, give it all run through before bringing it out and using it for an event.  Make sure all is in perfect order.  So, we ended up doing a good long pop off that ended up lasting about 4 hours.  Of course here we are popping , sorting and bagging away not realizing the tantalizing affect we were having on our next door neighbors!  Well, next door to us is a large apartment building with balconies that face out toward our back yard across their driveway, and it was a nice day, low 70’s with a slight breeze, so windows and sliding glass doors all the way down the building were swung wide.

As we were winding down, someone hollered off one of the balconies, “Hey, are you selling that stuff?”  HECK yeah we’re selling it!!!!  So, over comes Izaiah and his dog Gizmo.  Izaiah was visiting his daughter who had just moved into the apartment and who was also just about half past due to have her baby, and here comes Izaiah, such a good Dad, to settle his daughters cravings with a big huge bag of kettle corn!  Later on we hear that everyone enjoyed some of that kettle corn and how good it was!!!  Now I’m not making any claims, but… next day we hear Izaiah’s daughter gave birth day after eating our kettle corn!!!  I’m telling you, this stuff has magical properties!!!!  All I can say is…Who’s your Popper?????
